Rental Policy for Park Avenue Rentals

This Rental Policy sets forth the terms and conditions under which Park Avenue Rentals provides van rental services. By renting a vehicle from Park Avenue Rentals, you agree to abide by this policy in its entirety. Please read carefully before proceeding with your rental.

  1. Rental Requirements

  3. Driving Record: Park Avenue Rentals reserves the right to deny rentals to customers with a poor driving record, including recent traffic violations, DUIs, or other factors deemed risky by the company.
  4. Payment Method: A valid credit card in the renter’s name is required for all rentals. Debit cards are accepted under certain conditions, but additional identification and credit checks may be required.
  1. Rental Rates and Fees
  1. Rental Rate: Rental rates are determined by vehicle type, rental period, and any applicable promotional offers. All rates are subject to change.
  2. Deposit Requirement: A security deposit may be required at the time of rental. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle type and rental period and will be refunded within [X days] after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.

  1. Vehicle Condition and Use
  1. Condition Upon Pickup and Return: Renters are required to inspect the vehicle for any existing damage at the time of pickup. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as it was rented, excluding normal wear and tear. Renters may be held responsible for any new damage upon return.
  2. Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee may be applied if the vehicle is returned in excessively dirty condition, including but not limited to stains, pet hair, odors, or debris.
  3. Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all Park Avenue Rentals vehicles. A smoking fee will apply if any evidence of smoking is found in the vehicle upon return.
  4. Permitted Use: Vehicles rented from Park Avenue Rentals may only be used for lawful purposes. Vehicles are not to be used for racing, off-roading, towing, or any illegal activity.
  5. Authorized Drivers: Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle. Unauthorized drivers may void insurance coverage and result in additional fees.
  6. Geographic Restrictions: Vehicles are permitted for use within the United States. Any travel outside the United States requires prior approval from Park Avenue Rentals.

  1. Insurance Coverage: Renters are responsible for providing proof of liability insurance at the time of rental. This insurance must meet state minimum requirements and cover rental vehicle use.
  2. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Park Avenue Rentals offers optional CDW coverage for an additional fee. This waiver may reduce or eliminate the renter’s financial responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle in the event of a collision, subject to certain exclusions.
  3. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI): SLI coverage may be offered to provide additional liability protection up to a specified limit. Renters should inquire about SLI coverage options at the time of rental.
  4. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): PAI provides optional coverage for medical expenses for the renter and passengers in the event of an accident.
  5. Loss or Damage Responsibility: Renters are responsible for any loss or damage to the rental vehicle, including theft, vandalism, collision, or other incidents not covered by insurance or a damage waiver. Renters must report any accident or damage to Park Avenue Rentals and the local authorities immediately.
  1. Roadside Assistance
  1. Basic Roadside Assistance: Park Avenue Rentals provides basic roadside assistance for mechanical issues such as flat tires, dead batteries, and lockouts. Additional charges may apply for roadside assistance resulting from renter negligence.
  2. 24/7 Emergency Assistance: In case of an emergency, renters should contact Park Avenue Rentals’ 24/7 emergency hotline for immediate assistance. Contact information is provided on the rental agreement.
  1. Reservation, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
  1. Reservation Requirements: A valid credit card is required to secure a reservation. Park Avenue Rentals will confirm the reservation by email upon successful booking.
